I tried Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle in Watercolors and Pop Art. Watercolors is a gorgeous combinations of pale pinks and delicate purples that has a pretty, ethereal look to it. Pop Art — despite its name being an homage to another art era — really had more of an art deco feel to it, with its mixture of earthy colors and muted tones. I like that Revlon included both “safe” and more neutral palettes as well as more vibrant and exciting combinations.
I got great pigmentation with Revlon’s palettes. The primer isn’t the best I’ve ever used, but for one that comes in a makeup palette, I found it to be pretty effective. I had no trouble getting the saturation I wanted.
Durability: 4/5
I wore the Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle Pop Art palette for a whole night and it stayed in place very well. By the end of the evening my makeup looked just about as good as it did when I first put it on.
Finish: 4/5
I loved the finish of these. They looked smooth and had the perfect amount of subtle spark. I felt a little so-so initially about some of the color combinations (particularly Pop Art). But overall, I liked the combinations of colors and I think they work together when they’re all together on your eyes.

Bottom Line
Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle is a fun drugstore find. I love that it’s a complete look in one palette — including primer — but that you can also play with the eye shadow in other looks. It went on easily, lasted all night, and though I’m iffy about some of the combinations, I think many of them have the potential to look awesome if you apply them the right way. Overall, it’s a great palette that’s practical and fun.
