Should people with fat genes avoid fried food?
A new study published in the British Medical Journal reported a close relationship between a higher genetic risk of obesity and the consumption of fried foods. It is about time to change your diet.

According to Havard scientists, if you have significant genetic scores and your diet involves eating fried foods 4 times a week or more, your weight is likely to increase by two times as compared to those with the lowest genetic scores. Provided that your genes are predisposed to develop obesity, eating the foods once or twice a week can boost the risk of being overweight.
"This work provides formal proof of interaction between a combined genetic risk score and environment in obesity." Professor Alexandra Blakemore and Dr Jessica Buxton at Imperial College London

In other words, stop eating fried foods and eat healthily if your genes are likely to make you fat. So take action today.
